What we collect

• Account details: your display name, plus your email address and a protected form of your password if you create an account. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google, and we keep only the email address.
• Guest accounts: a generated name and a random identifier.
• Session details: a sign-in cookie, your IP address and your browser type.
• Game activity: the moves and reactions needed to run a game. Games in progress are held in memory and are not saved.

How we use it

We use this information to run the game, keep you signed in, send account emails such as email confirmation and password resets, and protect the site from abuse. We do not sell your information, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Who can see it

Other players see your display name and your game activity. Names on full accounts are unique, so yours is held for you until you change it or delete your account. We use a small number of service providers to run the site: Hetzner hosts the server in Germany, an email provider delivers account emails, and Google handles Google sign-in if you choose it. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Cookies

We only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in.

How long we keep it

We keep account details until you ask us to delete them. Backups are removed after about 14 days. Unused guest accounts may be deleted at any time.

Your choices

You can change your display name or delete your account from the menu under your name. To access your account data or ask anything else, email support@playbspoker.com.

Children

BS Poker is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We will update this page if our practices change.
